In 1901, when it was erected , the building housed a coach-house on the ground floor and some polished upstairs apartments. In 1956 it became a Hotel, which was extended and restored in the ensuing years and in 2010 it was built up into a boutique four stars hotel.

Boasting a rooftop terrace with city views, Hotel Fiume is located in Piazza Fiume 10 minutes' walk from both glamorous via Veneto street and Villa Borghese park. Rooms come with a satellite flat-screen TV, and WiFi is free throughout.

All air conditioned, rooms have elegant parquet floors and a private bathroom with shower.

The buffet breakfast at Fiume Hotel includes bacon and eggs, cold meats, and cheese, together with fresh fruit, cakes and pastries.
